Welcome, Band Families!
The New Palestine Band Boosters play a vital role in supporting the band program and enriching the experience of every student involved. Their purpose is to provide financial support, coordinate volunteers, and assist with events, fundraising, and logistics that help the band operate smoothly throughout the year. From uniforms and equipment to travel assistance and special events, the Band Boosters help bridge the gap between what the school provides and what the band needs to thrive.
Parent involvement is essential to the success of the Band Boosters and the band program as a whole. When parents volunteer their time, talents, and ideas, it creates a strong support system for our students and directors. Whether serving on the Booster Board, helping at events, or volunteering occasionally, every level of involvement makes a meaningful difference.
The Band Boosters are truly a partnership between families and the band program, working together to ensure students have a positive, well-supported, and memorable band experience. We encourage all parents to get involved in whatever way they can, your participation matters and is greatly appreciated.

As the current Board President of the Band Boosters, I am proud to serve our incredible band community and support the students who make it so special, including my own children, Orion (Flute) and Amelia (Alto Sax & Cymbals). Like many families, ours found connection and belonging through the band program, and I’ve seen firsthand the confidence, friendships, and growth it fosters. My focus as President is always on what best serves our students: creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every musician can thrive. I am committed to working closely with our band director, strengthening parent involvement, supporting meaningful fundraising efforts, and ensuring our program continues to grow. It is an honor to help lead such a dedicated community, and I look forward to continuing to build opportunities for all of our talented students.
Living the band dad life in full swing. Proud dad to a trumpet player son, a color guard daughter and another son in sixth grade at NPI. Husband, dog dad to three, and always down for time outside with family and friends. If there’s a band event happening, I’m probably there volunteering and cheering everyone on.
I am currently serving as Secretary of the Band Boosters and am a proud mom of five. My oldest son is finishing his third year in band, including two marching season, and my oldest daughter recently completed her fifth winter guard season after participating in marching guard. My youngest daughter is excited to begin her band journey next year as a 7th grader. Over the past three years, I have volunteered in a variety of roles during both marching and winter seasons, and I have supported concessions since September 2024. I look forward to continuing to serve and support our students and the band program.
I currently serve as the treasurer of the Band Boosters, where I help manage funds and support the needs of our band students and directors. It’s been a rewarding way to stay involved and give back to a program that means so much to so many families.
My daughter is a sophomore and is actively involved in Marching Band, Jazz Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble. Being able to see firsthand the dedication of the students and staff has made me even more appreciative of the hard work that goes into every performance and event.
I’m truly proud to volunteer my time and support our outstanding band program, and I’m grateful to be part of such a committed and talented community.
I am a New Palestine graduate, Class of 1999, and currently serve as the Student Accounts Coordinator for the band program. I have been involved with the program for the past seven years alongside my twin daughters, Alaina and Abbie, as well as our youngest, Avery. Over the years, I have helped with prop building, trailer transport, and served as a Prop Dad for the guard team.
Seeing how much this program has supported my twins’ personal growth has inspired me to become even more involved. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting our students, staff, and families and to help this program thrive.
My husband and I have two daughters, and both are in New Pal Bands. Malina plays the flute and is currently a junior. Maren plays alto sax and is currently a sophomore. Both girls are in Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band and Audio Theatre, and they love all the band activities. I have volunteered in several areas including Concessions, the Gift Shop at IMS, loading props/equipment, serving food, helping at ISSMA events, Santa Breakfast and Trunk-or-Treat. I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming part of the New Pal Band family and meeting so many great kids and families. I had a lot of fun watching the Marching Dragons and New Pal Audio Theatre this year, and I’m looking forward to many more seasons. I am serving as the sponsorships coordinator because I want to help the New Pal Band programs achieve their goals, and work with others on the board to make these programs a great experience for the kids and parents. I want to help all our programs create opportunities for each student to grow through teamwork and accomplish great things together while building lasting relationships.
I currently serve as the Community Liaison for the band program. I stay actively involved by helping with props, chaperoning, supporting hair and prep for marching band and guard, and cheering on the students.
We have two children currently in the program: our son Kaleb, a senior involved in marching band, concert band, jazz, and audio theater, and our daughter Brianna, an 8th grader participating in cadet band, RA, and marching band. We also have two younger boys who hope to join band in the future.
I currently serve as the Fundraising Coordinator for the band program, a role I have held since September 2024. I am a proud color guard mom with two children in New Palestine schools, one of whom is in the band program. My daughter is a four year winter guard member and is preparing for her third season of marching guard. My oldest is in her first year of concert and jazz band at the high school.
I enjoy being part of this program and working to find new fundraising opportunities that help lower costs for our families.
I am currently serving as the Concessions Coordinator for the Band Boosters. I graduated from New Palestine in 2002, where I was also involved in band, and my family has been part of this community for generations. I have three wonderful daughters. One previously participated in guard, and another is currently in the band program. Being able to support a program that meant so much to me growing up, and now means so much to my own children, is incredibly special. I truly enjoy helping coordinate concessions, which is one of the band’s biggest fundraisers. It’s rewarding to know that the work we do directly supports our students and helps make their experiences possible. Being involved and giving back to this program is very important to me.
