We had an incredibly busy day on Saturday, with all three Winter Guards traveling to Northview High School, NPAT competing at Greenfield Central, State Solo and Ensmble at North Central HS, and some of our members performing both Friday night and Saturday with the show choirs and show choir band.

I continue to be inspired by how well our students and families navigate conflicts in schedules to make things work. We had some wonderful results this weekend! Congratulations to all our state solo and ensemble performers on your work this winter during our Chamber Unit. Special congratulations to senior percussionists Lillian Buist and Samuel DeHoff on earning the best possible scores on their solos at the State level.

NPAT gave another great performance Saturday evening resulting in another 1st place finish this week. This week they’ll be working to get the remainder of their show on the floor before traveling to Franklin Community High School on Saturday.

Our Winter Guards also gave improved performances on Saturday. Our Cadet guard earned their first Gold rating of the season this week! Regional A saw a score improvement of over EIGHT points from their last show two weeks ago. A Guard continued to improve their ranking in the A class standings leading up to state prelims.

Don’t miss our Community Night on Thursday, March 12! Chili and desserts begin at 6 pm in the Cafeteria with performances beginning in the Main Gym at 7:30 pm.
